ALLUSION MAGAZINE is a digital and print magazine that features the untold stories of community talent, rising filmmakers, and industry veterans. The magazine was founded by Editor in Chief: Milla Nguyen in order to bridge the gap between upcoming Gen Z + Millennial filmmakers and the industry. “The AM crew initiative” highlights all student creatives, local photographers, and production crew that create the content — leaving no team member without recognition. “Underrated” is a section exclusively for the hidden gems of local filmmaking talent that might not have as big of a following as others in the industry. That doesn’t mean they shine any less. “The Vicarious Column” explores below-the-surface personal stories of the most respectable filmmakers (from legends of Hollywood history to social media’s talk-of-the-town filmmaking icons) #livevicariously. At Allusion Magazine, there is no prejudice based on culture, award-winning status, who you know, or even what you’re wearing. We’re serving authenticity to the masses.
